Operation Christmas Child

Operation Christmas Child is a wonderful opportunity for you – no matter what age you are – to be involved in a simple, hands-on project of Samaritan’s Purse that focuses on the true meaning of Christmas – Jesus Christ, God’s greatest gift.  It’s simple in that all you have to do is fill a shoe box – an OCC box or one of your own – with hygiene items, school supplies, and toys (some restrictions apply).  The boxes are collected then distributed to children in various parts of the world regardless of gender, race, or religion.

YOU TOO CAN PACK A SHOEBOX!  Click on this link to find out how: How to Pack a Shoebox

If you’d like to learn more about this endeavour, visit the Operation Christmas Child website. While there, you can read about the impact the shoe boxes have had in various countries around the world.

National Collection Week is Nov. 12-18, 2018

Palmerston Evangelical Missionary Church (PEMC) is a Drop-Off Centre for the shoeboxes.  You may also pick up boxes to fill from us too!
